Providing training is one of the duties that attracted me to the Product Specialist role and it’s one of the many services that we enjoy providing at AlphaLogix. From Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems such as Sage 200 to Customer Relationship Management systems such as Sage CRM, we provide training on a wide range of powerful systems.
In a previous blog we wrote about the modular nature of Sage 200, providing businesses with only those elements of the system that they need and allowing them to ‘bolt on’ additional modules as they expand into new areas. With that said, the full Sage 200 suite is vast, comprising of many areas so it’s extremely important that training of a high standard is received at the right time, to the right users.
The help facility available in Sage 200 can answer many of the basic questions that may arise whilst using the software. However this help facility alone is not sufficient for users that are new to the system. Our Sage 200 training manuals are bespoke to the training being provided. The training manuals contain screenshots and pictures throughout and we find that this helps the trainees understand the content.
If they wish, the trainees can write notes in the spaces provided in the training manuals and the manuals are taken away by the trainees in order that they can be referred to in the future. This benefits the trainees who have more confidence in their system utilisation and in turn, your company starts to benefit quickly from the investment made in the training. To minimise any potential for operational disruption, the training we provide is often split into individual sessions throughout the day. Only those that need to see the areas of Sage 200 being covered will be present so the trainees are away from their work-area for as little time as possible.
We are able to provide training both off and on-site and offer training on all modules within the Sage 200 suite, from the most popular Financial and Commercial modules, through to the more industry-specific modules such as Manufacturing and Project Accounting.
