What is Sage One?


Sage One is a cloud-based accounts software package targeted to small businesses, start-ups and the self-employed in the UK. Sage One is now known as Sage Accounting and offers basic accounting, invoice management, cash flow forecast, compliance management and expense management.

The Sage One accounting software is easy to use and intuitive and is hosted in the Cloud, so you do not need to install the accounts system onto your computer or server. New updates are automatically applied to Sage One, so you are always using the latest version.

There are 3 different versions of Sage One to choose from, Start, Standard and Plus. All three versions contain the same core features.

The Sage One core finance features enables you to create and send invoices, automatic bank reconciliation, track what you are owed, and calculate and submit VAT online to HMRC.

Sage One also helps you to manage tax and cash flow forecasting, and the new version is MTD (Making Tax Digital) compliant.
