Sage Pay (now known as Opayo) is a leading independent payment service provider (PSP) and provides online payments processing, telephone payments, as well as face-to-face card machines and POS payments processing. Sage Pay helps merchants to manage and process payments securely.
Sage Pay was previously known as Protx before Sage Group plc acquired the business in 2006 and rebranded Protx as Sage Pay in 2009. In Nov 2019 Elavon announced the acquisition of Sage Pay and rebranded it as Opayo in July 2020.
